Our 1949-51 Mercury disc brake conversion kit uses low profile GM calipers for more friction surface area, improved stopping power and added wheel clearance. 60 to 0 mph stopping distances and braking efficiency are great improved over factory drum brakes. Disc brake conversion kits mount to your original spindle making installation easy! You can use your stock Mercury wheels. Works with 15" wheels. This kit has a wheel offset of +.50" per side (moves wheels out 1/2" per side)
